Most solid hardwood can be refinished several times over its life. Engineered hardwood depends on how thick the wear layer is. We check thickness and condition at the free estimate and give you a straight answer.
How long do we need to stay off the floor?
It depends on the finish product used. We give you the specific timeline for your job before we start, including when light foot traffic is fine and when furniture and rugs can return.
Is refinishing cheaper than replacing?
Usually, yes — you are not paying for new material or tear-out. Every job prices differently based on square footage, condition and prep, which is why the estimate is free and in person.
Can you change the color of my floor?
Yes. Once the floor is sanded to bare wood you can go lighter, darker or a different tone entirely. We apply sample patches so you approve the color first.
